Claire Koutsouros
Hair by Claire
|
Born in Philadelphia and is a native of Doylestown, Pa., Claire always had a knack for style. Even at age 7, she can remember wanting a particular hair style. Never did she ever get what she asked for. For years she thought she had bad hair. It took her fifteen years later to realize it wasn't the hair, it was the hair dresser.
Perusing her passion, she started cosmetology school in 1997 and is schooled in hair with diplomas from Vidal Sassoon. She works hard to design the right shape and style for each individual. Her philosophy is...
| |
"Take the time on each client so they don't have to. Styling is a waste of time, one has style because the stylist can create it with scissors not a blow dryer, brush, or iron." |
Hair by Claire opened in 2005. Makeovers are her favorite thing to do. She loves to make someone's day by offering them, not necessarily a new look, but by working with what they have, so they don't have to think about it. This is where she designs something for their everyday need.
| |
"Who has time to do their hair, that is my job. Let me do so you don't have to worry about it" |

"My clients best interests, above and beyond my own." |
Makeover My Hero is such a rewarding cause. Mark felt that he wanted to give back to teachers in any way that he could. We all have looked at professions like Police Officers, Firemen and Teachers and thought, they deserve so much more pay. Well here is our chance to give our teachers a small bump in pay.

"I still remember my 2nd grade teacher taking the extra time with me. At the time I was a C average student. By 6th grade I was a straight A student. It was all the time and effort that teachers like Mrs. Rohr Thompson that made the difference for me. She was my hero" |
